The School of Technology is in the process of re-aligning its curricula to better reflect the needs of the State and the industries that it serves. Some of the proposed programs are Electronic Power Technology, Motor Sports Technology, Nanotechnology in Manufacturing, Biosafety, Construction Management, Master of Architecture & Doctorate in Technology Management and Policy. The feasibility study is a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of Price and Smith Halls by evaluating the classrooms, instructional laboratories, staff offices, departmental offices, research spaces, and student work areas and studios. The proposed new complex will be innovative, fit into the university master plan while representing the future. It is anticipated that the complex will be a sustainable building. The structural and building systems will be exposed so that it can serve as a living laboratory. We envision a facility that will have open sky light and student focused departments.
