Elliott Friedman

Elliott received his Master of Architecture degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design where he served as a teaching assistant for a range of design studios and courses, in topics spanning collective housing to structural design.

Originally from Portland, Oregon, he earned his Bachelor’s degree with Highest Honors from Middlebury College in Vermont, where he was awarded the Christian A. Johnson Thesis Prize. While at Middlebury, he served as the design lead for a team of students that won the elementary school category in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Race to Zero Energy design competition.

Before joining Vines, Elliott gained valuable experience at large internationally recognized firms including Herzog & de Meuron and MASS Design Group, contributing to significant public-facing cultural and institutional projects.
